Merry Christmas from Vail, Colorado
We traveled to Vail, Colorado for Christmas this year. Vail is a great place to spend the holidays. While there are many fun things to do in the alpines, a snowmobile ride to the top of the rockies is my favorite. I thought I would share a photo we took overlooking the top of the rockies, which is over 14,000 ft.
The snow level is lower than normal on the ski slopes of Vail, but in the higher elevations where we ride snowmobiles was just right.
This wasn't our first trip to the Vail Valley and Beaver Creek Colorado, so we knew exactly where to go. We had Christmas dinner at Beano's Cabin. We took a 20 minute sleight ride up the mountain from Beaver Creek to Beano's Cabin for dinner. We didn't get many pictures of Beano's because it was about 8 degrees that night.
